In WorkReady, 2-6 players embark on a journey to develop their graduate attributes and 21st-century skills. Each player starts at the designated Start space on the board and takes turns rolling a die to move their token along the path, navigating spaces that challenge them in real-world, work-related scenarios. Depending on the space they land on, players draw and respond to one of four types of cards: Case Study, Challenge, Graduate Attribute, or 21st Century Skills. Each card presents tasks that may require dice rolls or collaborative decision-making, and successful completion awards points in relevant skills and attributes.
Players track their progress on a score sheet, recording points gained in areas such as teamwork, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving. The game can be won by either being the first to reach the Finish space or by accumulating the most points in skills and attributes, making strategic decisions critical to advancing and winning. By combining practical scenarios with game mechanics, WorkReady provides an engaging way for players to develop essential skills, preparing them for the professional world in a fun and interactive environment.
