Optentia - AI Symposium

At the Technology, Humanity, and the Ethical Compass symposium, I explored the evolving relationship between technology and human capabilities, focusing on the concept of “techtures,” which represent the intricate ways technology is woven into the workplace. I discussed how different tech clusters—from communication and productivity tools to education and health technologies—affect our ability to perform, collaborate, and innovate. My aim was to unpack how these tools shape not only the work we do but also how we approach professional development and decision-making. I also addressed the critical need for balancing human-centric design with ethical considerations, particularly regarding inclusivity and worker well-being. My presentation emphasized aligning technological tools with worker competencies, activities, and specializations to fully realize their potential in enhancing work-life balance and professional growth.
